Travel Search Pulse Play · The first Travel Search Pulse game
The “It’s the Brand Stupid” Travel Game
A five-minute, no-login game that acts out one idea: the biggest travel brands win in both classic and AI search because people already search for them by name.
How it works
You enter a brand name. Then you play as Peter Vogel, a small bird with big brand ambitions, on Travel Brand Island. Three travelers need help:
- Tara needs the right poster.
- Sofia needs a local mini-guide.
- Pablo lost his room key and needs service.
Each traveler gives you three answers. One of them gives that traveler a reason to search for your brand by name later. That’s the one worth 100 Brand Signal points. The other two are worth 50 and 0.
- Best answer per traveler100 pts
- Each delivery200 pts
- Four hidden TSP Tickets25 pts each
- Speed bonus on boardingup to 50 pts
- Maximum1,050 pts
It ends with a flight report (“2 of 3 travelers searched for your brand by name”), a card you can share, and an all-time top-10 leaderboard.
Why a game
The game is the argument, played out. Every time you pick the answer that gives a traveler a reason to remember your brand, you’re doing what the essay says the winners do at scale. The outcomes follow a scripted rule that enacts that argument. It is not a ranking model, and the game says so.
What's next
This is the first game on play.travelsearchpulse.com. Each one acts out one idea from a Travel Search Pulse essay. When the next one ships, it shows up here.
